Very caring Dr who listened. Reasonable time wait.
I waited an an appropriate time before my appointment condsidering how busy the service is, 30 mins after appointment time. I was assessed in a timely manner.
The Doctor I saw was really nice. She was friendly and did all the basic checks I expected but she was unable to do anything other than prescribed 1 days worth of painkillers which I did not collect as I pay for my prescription and at over £1 per tablet is ridiculous. I was advised to call my GP the next day which I did and got the referrals I feel are necessary. I do not understand why the Doctor I saw at urgent care could not have done this? I think we were both frustrated by this and I believe it was not only a waste of my time but also hers and certainly a financial waste. Maybe the NHS would be in better financial shape if I didn’t need to see 2 Doctors for 1 complaint!
No conditions
Doctor called me really quickly after referral from 111. He was polite, lovely and understood that I needed to be seen quickly. I was put at ease and seen by him within minutes of me arriving at the urgent care centre.
I have been struggling with the NHS for a lot of years I originally had stiffening the liver and fat into the liver multiple spinal injuries which was classed as moderate to severe I have been left by the NHS for all these years with minimal help also so with conflicting reports and instructions from specialists doctors of which I've had to get to the bottom of my own condition and stand up to certain doctors who who could sever my spine I have also been left traumatised by my whole experience with the NHS and DWP and left in poverty throughout the whole experience unfit to work to the whole time I'm I have not worked since 2017 hopefully the specialist I saw 2 days ago go has shown that he has the ability to get me through the situation I'm on a slow recover recovery and hopefully I would like to get back into employment yours Stephen Lodge
As I don’t have any conditions!!
It’s a lottery. Once you get sent up from A&E you are on your own. There needs to be more people talking to you. You see lots of nurses milling around but it doesn’t help the wait time. One person can see a doctor, come out and then there’s a 15 minute wait until the next goes in.
all services were professional
