My answers are based on the male receptionist. The doctor I saw was absolutely lovely.

For the male receptionist to not be so rude and to treat patients with respect. It was severely lacking on this occasion which I believe stemmed from the fact he couldn't hear me speaking. He asked three times for me to repeat information and was very rude about it and his behaviour escalated the more he couldn't hear me. The reason he couldn't hear me was because I had a chest infection and was struggling to breathe so couldn't speak very loudly. A little but of understanding from him would have not gone amiss.

The nurse practitioner Rachel was very helpful and so kind I was in some pain with the insect bite on my ankle and she was very helpful. I was given a prescription and told where the local pharmacy was that was open on a Sunday. She even gave me directions which was so helpful. This is my first experience of using the same day health clinic and it was wonderful.

The receptionist was not present when I entered and I was waiting a good 5 minutes until she arrived. She was very miserable- I got the impression a Sunday evening shift was not for her. I was apprehensive as I had never visited before and she did not me feel comfortable. Thankfully I wasn’t waiting long to see the nurse practitioner Rachel.

I only gave 3 stars on some of the questions as I new the product they provided would not work as the eye infection had gone to far I needed drops as I ended up at a&e that night because my face swelled even more from the infection and my eyes closed up which meant me having to have a wick in my right ear to open it to get the drops to work

Listen to the patient as well specially if they have had the same problem in past

Excellent service, this was the first time I had used it. I had an appointment to see a doctor just over an hour after ringing up. The staff I had contact with were all very professional and helpful and the doctor I saw diagnosed my condition and prescribed the medication to ease it. Very impressed.

The service was very professional, I can’t think of anything to improve it.

The practitioner was empathetic and discussed options available to me. Also the telephone call to SPA was easy, the lady was friendly and I received a quick response from the GP. Thank you.

The service I received was fantastic. From the initial call, the call with the doctor and at the same day health centre. Everyone was polite, courteous and explained what would happen next. For something as simple as an infection in my thumb, i had been diagnosed and had my medication in the space of a morning.

I had no issues, so there was little anyone could have done to improve the service I received. Thank you.

Waited 9 hours for call back, I am an Emergency Care Practitioner, explained what I thought was wrong with me I do have the knowledge. ACP was kind no problem with her, but wanted to see me non the less, from one HCP to another would have been much happier if she had accepted my diagnosis over the phone just needed some abx. Instead I get offered an appointment late Saturday night, which I declined.All sorted now from another source but had to wait another 36 hours to confirm the diagnosis I already had! So just a little annoyed.

As a HCP with 29 years experience in the NHS it would have been nice to have had my self diagnosis of the problem I had being accepted by a fellow clinician. If I was just average joe bloggs off the street I understand the need for appointment. I was just trying to save time. Surely if as a clinician I self diagnose then can that not be added to the notes of a consultation and the onus of any issue come back to me?
