My local surgery was unable to give me an appointment for 2 days, even though I was in a lot of pain. The Walk in centre gave me an appointment within an hour of my telephone call and prescribed penicillin. The lady I saw was very professional and gave me a thorough checking over. I felt very confident in her.

The reception ladies were very kind and considerate.

I had to keep ringing because it took all day to get my prescription electronically sent to my chemist, so much so that i didnt get my medication until the next day.

Lower back pain. Compressed discs Annular tares On regular strong pain medication but after a fall on Thursday i was back to square one and finding no relief. GP prescribed 3 days Diazepam which were beggining to take the edge off but i took my last tablet on Saturday night and was back in constant agony in the early hours of Sunday morning. Hence my call to 111 and the visit.

It was great to see many physicians working with patients coming and going. I didnt appreciate the hour n half wait to be seen. I get that different people require different treatment times and staff require breaks but i would have been better at home if id have been called and asked to go in at 4pm rather than be sat in pain. This would have been better for me to manage my pain and having someone sat about waiting for me wondering why i was so long. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the dedication for people who need them. I have never had a problem seeing or speaking to my own GP and i am very grateful that an opportunity to see a Dr in the same day centre was there.

I was asked to visit the same day health care centre at 5pm I dragged myself out of bed feeling ever so Ill took around 35 mins in busy traffic I arrived at 4pm let them know I was in the car park as directed @5:30 pm got a phone call and was prescribed antibiotics over the phone and sent them to my local chemist while I was in the car park. Drove back home 40 mins in peak traffic . Nothing made sense , their needs to be a better system than that . Very poor service

Communicate with staff and patients better that was an appalling treatment I had this time

I rang out of hours to see if I could have a prescription. I need not have gone because the Dr told me they don't prescribe for minor things. I was sent to Cavendish House because I had a rash with pinprick spots even though I said these were left over from a previous infection. The Dr didn't examine the rash. I was almost 2 hours waiting to be seen . For nothing.

You could have said I couldn't have a prescription!
