The nurses/doctors/technicians where all very professional and caring, Always. But so.ething needs to be done about the attitude of the two ladies sat behind reception. I understand they see a lot of people daily, but when youre ill you dont need your first point of contact with the emergency service to be a rememberale one for all the wrong reasons... i was in A&E 6hrs yesterday and I witnessed everyone turning up treated to the same attitude. Example, one lady turn up with her obviously handicapped son, who had breathing difficulties. The receptionist made the poor mother (even after protest)take him to the desk to observe him, when she could clearly see him and his obvious suffer from where she was sat.

As above, other than that, the people who where actually work where first class.

Staff were very helpful.

Very poor in communication as a CR scan was needed almost after admission from ambulance. When consultant was told that I should have been taken immediately as I should have been red coded. As a result I had to wait at least 4 hours before I saw the consultant who immediately organised the CT scan. The consultant also asked if I had blood tests and then organised them himself.

I visited A&E with my 8 year old son following him hurting his arm whilst playing football.He was booked in, triaged, x-rayed and plaster cast applied all within 2 hours. This swift service minimised the distress and angst that we were all feeling at the time.

I did notice that the triage room had litter in the form of medical wrappings/ packaging on the floor.

The staff at the hospital were amazing and most of them took the time to speak to me properly. As this was a big incident they were kind and listened. I did feel that some of the main doctors didn’t take the time and just rushed through what they needed to do and leave. The nurse I had and the anaesthetic doctor were brilliant and kept me calm and explained everything they were doing.

I think just ask doctors to slow down and explain situations as some of them rushed me into answers instead of letting me explain. I know all the staff are busy but I feel you could get more from a patient if they were respected and given the chance to answer and explain

From the person on reception, triage nurses (Emma and student) fit to sit SHCA's and the treating doctor all were really professional, kind and efficient

Very friendly nurse and kept me informed. Ct person was also very nice and informed me what he was doing at every stage. Apart from delay is about 30 mins very pleased with service

My midwife during birth was supper supportive and caring she came back to check on me the night after and other staff also made me feel so proud of my self and cared for

We arrived after a concerning morning with my pregnant fiancee having some heavy bleeding. We were told they would try to get us in for a scan, but with it being a Saturday, it would be difficult. No less that 10 minutes later we had an appointment at the ultrasound dept, which were also very helpful. There was a little wait for a doctor to see us with a report, but we felt safe and in good hands the entire time. Thank you so much.

The wait between the scan and the doctor was a little long, but I understand that can't always be helped.
