Review of Wheelchair Service written by a patient
12th January 2018

I have always been treated with the utmost care and respect by everybody who works at the Wheelchair Department at Leatherhead Hospital. My opinions are sought and listened to, options are discussed, ideas are created and pursued. Phone calls are returned, promises are kept. I have several complex conditions, so my wheechair requirements are far from straightforward. This is a standard of care pretty much unequalled - nobody else, except my GP, comes anywhere near to the high standards here. Mike and Dom are the very best in terms of the skills they have and the knowledge at their fingertips. They are also extremely nice human beings. Once, when the appointment before mine overran, every single member of the team popped out to see me at some point, while I waited, to keep me updated. I could not have asked for better treatment. Nothing is too small or too trivial in their quest to "get it right". A huge thank you to all of them.

Review of District Nursing (Leatherhead and Cobham Locality) written by a family member
6th January 2018

I have completed this on behalf of my terminally ill mother. She died on 22/12 after a long fight with cancer. The district nurses cared for her brilliantly at the Nower Care Home in Dorking. Their practice was exemplary with excellent communication skills. At all times my mother was treated with great dignity & respect. She felt safe & greatly comforted by their care.uj

Review of Speech and Language Therapy (Leatherhead Clinic)
28th December 2017

The care was good, and it looks like after working for some time with the Speech and Language service my son will be discharged. It is somewhat frustrating that the personnel keep changing - we've seen three or four different specialists as Alex was growing up and this makes the sessions less effective. However the most recent sessions were more "fact-based" and this was more satisfying, since we were able to make less subjective assessments of my son's needs.

Review of School Nursing General (Epsom Clinic) written by a family member
13th December 2017

My daughter had been having some health issues and after visits to the GP and several tests, there was no conclusion. After fainting at school, she was put in touch with the school nurse who spent 30 mins talking to her. The nurse felt that she needed to be seen by the Eating Disorders Unit. My daughter had an assessment very quickly following from the referral from the school nurse and has been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. We feel very grateful that the school nurse had the knowledge to pick up on this as we have been able to identify the illness before it took a strong hold of my daughter.
