Hard to get a hold of if you’re out of the area and don’t have a clinic, wish other places would update their information to refer straight to this place. Kind and friendly whilst making the appointment, gave me thorough information on what’s the next steps are and why. Place was very clean and tidy, I like this update. Quiet, staff and kind, helpful and welcoming. The nurse gave me good information on what I came for and what other questions I had, I felt I got the information and support that I need.

Be easier to contact for boroughs that no longer have this service.

On the lead up to my appointment I have to say I haven’t been as nervous as I was this morning and the days leading up to the date. I am normally quite good and relaxed with any appointments in the relatable department. The nurse who seen to me was amazing to say the least. She gave me all the information and more, that I needed to know. I have already had this form of contraception else where and was never given the details of care and attention like I did at the Brook from my nurse. I actually learnt a few new things. The whole environment from walking in to leaving was a clean, relaxing and welcoming environment, which is very reassuring. Easy to park and find. Hopefully for future visits will fall under your care. Thank you

Although it doesn’t fall under the Brook. I just wish as a new mother wanting to go back onto the coil, I would have been told how long the wait was going to be for fitment. Maybe a conversation to be had at mothers doctors check up or via midwives and health visitors.

Things I noticed during my appointment: Very clean and inviting reception and waiting area. Staff were so kind and helpful. I was so pleased with the in depth information about my procedure beforehand. I was asked for my consent before each part of my procedure. Very knowledgeable practitioners. I felt comfortable throughout everything.

Personally I cannot think of anything.

Always felt listened to and involved in my care and decision making. Rebecca was absolutely lovely! A smiley happy friendly face!

It would be very helpful and beneficial to the service to have a scanner. I went to have my coil removed and the threads had retracted up inside high up so I had to be referred for an USS at the hospital and then referred back to family planning. This delayed the coil removal and prolonged my issues with the coil however if the service had a scanner, the issue could have been resolved there and then.

As soon as I arrived Lauren the receptionist was so lovely and made me feel really welcome. Laura (the nurse) made me feel so comfortable and was also so lovely!

Trans man here, this place is amazing! Extremely friendly staff, made me feel very comfortable and safe and were very respectful of my gender identity unlike other hospitals/clinics I’ve been to, would DEFINITELY recommend :)

The only small issue I had was when I was ringing to get my results it took a while to get an answer, but I completely understand that this is a busier clinic
