I was treated with compassion and care and involved in my treatment strenglth, due to me feeling physically ill. I felt very safe and that was entirely due to Jo, Alison monitoring me very carefully.

All patients are offered the opportunity to keep valuable possessions in our ward safe on admission. Structured, organised, honest, fair and lots of wisdom. Nice food. Clean. Staff well trained.

We understand the ward can be an intense environment with people experiencing a variety of emotions and sometimes this can be anger. Staff are all trained to engage with patients when they are agitated and distressed and help them to find ways to manage their emotions.

My husband has been looked after with such care , almost like family. The staff are the very best of the NHS. With dementia, it is very hard to sometimes be patient, but the staff are gentle always. They always have a smile encouraging the patients to be comfortable. I cannot recommend the staff here enough. Thank you for helping me come to terms with all I have had to contend with.
The staff team are friendly, kind and understanding. They are willing to listen and take on board family input.
