Dr Mark Reed - my experience was not great. He prescribed a medicine that was not effective. Second opinion with my preferred GP and was prescribed an appropriate medication and it was effective indeed.
Will not be booking with him another appointment and also not with Dr shakur either.
Some doctors are very rude, do not try and listen and clearly do not explain when questions are asked.
Three doctors, namely Drs. Reeder, Joshi and Milligan are fine example for others to follow in their footsteps. They make the patient feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for in every way. Just by seeing them makes me feel so much better.
Some receptionists at the desk do not smile nor try to be understanding. Some even try and redirect patients to see a dentist or other clinicians as if they are in a position to advise patients.
To get an appointment is still not easy at all. It should be like some other surgeries which allow patients to schedule appointments during the day.
Saturday appointments are not easily bookable either.
There was confusion about testing due to a locum requesting the tests and nurse unclear how to process and doubting their necessity.
On attempting to get an appt I phoned 52 times between 8 and 8.10. Phoned again 8.45 and a very helpful receptionist fitted me in ... The doctor was running 40 mins late ,and spoke to me for around 5 mins , he looked totally uninterested and tired .
Gave me prescription for sleeping pills ?? asked me to return in a week if no better .......No improvement to my chronic pain after a week so phoned 8 mins past 8 and no appointment available .....
All staff professional and helpful.
I have not had any issues in booking appointments with a doctor or nurse practioner.
