It isn’t particularly easy to get an appointment within a week.
Suggested improvements
When you invite patients to book online, which includes providing some detail about the condition, please respond within 48 hours (preferably sooner). I did this a week ago and, so far, you have been silent.

It's not too bad to get an appointment though there is longish time to see a Dr though when really necessary the receptionists are super at trying to get one.
My experience yesterday with nurse [name removed] was as always really good. It's just my problematic legs!!

Lots of patients all over UK would dearly be able to see the same Dr. Not that I have any problems with who I've seen but one feels more secure with someone who knows you.

Totally let down by every one. Need bloods that the practice nurse could not get.
Need treatment but at this rate nothing is happening. Please help me to regain a full and normal life.

Prioritise patients who need help, with awful conditions.
Stop cancelling appointments when some patients need serious help.

Always easier to arrange an appointment in person. On this occasion an appointment was available within a week- but it was for ongoing treatment. Also wasn’t to see one of the doctors, which helped.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
