Got an appointment at short notice as I had been at Lancaster Infirmary 3 weeks previous and they thought it important that I had a follow up

Having to call up first thing in the morning to get an appointment the same day is quite stressful the night before. That said, when you’re in trouble its easy to get an appointment which is great. I marked it down one star purely because getting appointments is not as easy as it may be once was.

This is an amazing surgery providing an incredible service with very lucky to have it in our local area

The care co-ordinators (Receptionists) were very helpful and kind sorting something out for me. They do a fabulous job.
The nurse I saw was great, talked me through what was happening, checking that I knew what my blood tests were for and talked to me putting my mind at ease. I felt comfortable all through my appointment. I was well cared for from start to finish.

Sometimes it is difficult to get an appointment without having to wait.

I don't always feel comfortable having to tell the receptionist why I need an appointment.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
