Everyone I saw yesterday was very courteous, efficient and helpful. I would however like to particularly thank [name removed] for the care I received. He was absolutely excellent for which I am most thankful.

The first appointment I was offered was by phone with more than a week delay. Then I had a nurse appointment & she was a me to book a next day face to face appointment. I tried to book initially via your e.ail system. I hadn't realised that this was Forton urgent appointments only.
Suggested improvements
I preferred the Ask my GP system. I thought it worked much better than the current system as so.eone else decided whether the situation was urgent or not. It seems I think things are not urgent when they are. I'm now unsure what to do to get a reasonably urgent appointment- not necessarily the same day but within a few days.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
