It isn't always easy to get an appointment with the gp,I suppose it depends how urgent is and if you manage to phone early enough. I used to make appointments via online but this service has been removed which is a shame. I'm not even sure what GPS are there any more,my regular gp has left sadly
The appointment was a telephone one and the doctor called me, the daughter but not my mum..he said he’d speak to her and he didn’t..
I have power of attorney so I can understand that.however the doctor was supposed to arrange a face to face appointment but didn’t..
I’m in the dark about what happens next?
I feel very lucky to be at mill rd surgery, all staff are fantastic and go above and beyond. Thankyou
It’s much more difficult than pre-Covid - the very long message before you get choices is off-putting. No longer any continuity because you never know which GP you will see.
Appointments are taken very quickly every morning - I’m very lucky that I don’t need to see a doctor often but when I do I can’t fault their commitment to do the best for me
The reception staff are good at getting results online quickly for patients which means I don’t have to ring the surgery for results
