The Yellow Practice

I am writing on behalf of my 82 year old mother who called the surgery to request an appointment, she was unable to see a Dr so had a phone call, he would not see her as she had a cough and sent her to to emergency clinic at St Peter's hospital where she had to wait outside in the cold for half an hour as she had to take a taxi, as she only drives locally, as she was not allowed inside!! She saw a GP and was given anti biotics for a chest infection, all the above stress could have been avoided if the GP agreed to see her, you all wear masks! Is that not the point of those items so stop infection!! You are behind screens and no one is allowed inside the surgery therefore minimising any possible infection, the duty of care was disgraceful, she is an elderly lady who doesn't make a fuss and was treated like she was a leper!! It's about time GPs stopped hiding behind covid and actually did there job and helped the people that need help! What's happened to actually looking after your patients. Just a disgrace, but I'm sure you will be out in the community giving booster jabs but not helping an individual who only had a chest infection!!

My very big complaint it that this clinic does not cater to deaf and hard of hearing people/patients. Every time I see my doctor I have to either ask the receptionist to wave when my name is called or rush over to her to see if my name was called. I have mentioned this to Dr Morcos and at reception ... I will follow this up with a proper letter. I know that your answer will be that there is no funding to help your hard of hearing patients. I promise you, there are many of us! I know that there are Loops but even those have to be properly positioned and maintained in order to work. Thank you for listening. Accommodating staff in evidence. Professional. Friendly.

Dr Nguyen is an extremely good doctor. Other doctors within yellow practice i.e. using reference books during appointments.

Prompt, empathetic and knowledgeable.

Patient, listened, considered was through in tests applied.
