I can't use e-consult, as I'm dyslexic. It's in my notes, and my doctor knows. Reception can be reluctant to assist me, or really helpful depending on who you get.

Suggested improvements
  • Get training so everyone on reception knows to help people who can't use e-consult

This is a good practice where I have found it easy to access appointments and advice and the doctors have engaged in discussion with me and take a pragmatic approach. The reception staff are friendly and efficient. Dr Mulvihill in particular is very approachable, kind and compassionate.

Suggested improvements
  • More patient involvement in the practice.

Another surgery who neglects to address serious mental health issues in their mentally ill patients by failing to actually diagnose them in the first place! This after being told repeatedly about bizarre and psychotic behaviour and aggression by a patient of theirs who has bizarre irrational verbal outbursts, malicious fixations on other women, and a partner who is co-dependant, does what she says and has perpertrated criminal acts on vulnerable neighbours, so he can feel like a man. Instead the GPs ignore this and concentrate on the easier physical complaints, leaving unsuspecting members of the public to suffer the consequences...! PLEASE give you patients the correct treatment and stop expecting innocent members of the public to be their punch bag so you don't have to bother! We also have our lives and health concerns but this kind of neglect, even when you have been repeatedly notified, is inexcusable. It means suffering for others, what happened to the Hippocratic Oath?
