I have had nothing but kind and caring treatment for the last year in Capelfield Surgery. From the moment I got in touch, last August I was treated so sympathetically by the receptionist and by the doctor on the telephone that very day. She arranged for the relevant tests to be done and followed up on all tests. This morning my experience was equally kind, the receptionist was lovely and so understanding. Dr Davidson could not have been nicer, so clear and straightforward, I understood everything. She was so practical and kind.

I find the service at Capelfield exceptional and feel very fortunate to have this practice as my GP. Reception staff are always so helpful and accommodating even though they are up against it in these times and even before. I feel they go above and beyond to help and I always feel confident that they have helped me to the best of their ability and means. When I have not called the surgery as I feel it may be easier to contact via messaging, I have always received a prompt answer and been redirected to a GP when possible. My GP Dr Davidson has always been amazing and I couldn’t thank her enough for her help over the last few years. Dr Ibbet has also been fantastic as have spoken with her a great deal as well as Dr Toumadj on the occasions I have spoken with her. The nurses are also fantastic. I hear stories from many other areas and GP practices that it’s near on impossible to even get through to the reception of GP practice without being on hold for up to an hour or plus, let alone actually getting to see or speak to someone. Capelfield is exceptional is all areas and all staff should be awarded medals! Not all heroes wear capes!

Excellent service, Doctor Davidson, saw me Monday and also rang the hospital and they moved my follow up appointment to Wednesday.

Dear Capelfield’s Team, A BIG thank you to Nina and Jeana for ‘sorting out’ my Ears. I am now , for the first time in decades, ( Not Exaggerated),Able to HEAR , ‘Normally’.Since I am a Musician , I cannot Overstate it’s Importance! The Main point that I would like to make is: How many OTHER people are/have suffering/suffered Serious LOSS of hearing , believing that the Deterioration of their Hearing is an Inevitable sign of getting Older,where in (at least SOME cases),it is merely a BUILD-UP of WAX !!!Kind regards.STAY SAFE ALL.Tony Albertini.

At present it’s not so easy to get to speak with your doctor of choice and when I wanted to SEE a doctor about a problem felt I was fobbed off ( it was not Dr Davidson). By being told that the doctor to whom I was speaking did not feel my problem needed to be seen. I was not best pleased

This was a telephone consultation with Nina the lovely nurse. She helped me to take the dressing off an operation wound. I didn’t think I had the courage to do it. She gave me the confidence to do it. Thank you Nina.

Thank you Capelfield. Louise the receptionist was lovely, the lady doctor, unfortunately didn’t catch her full name (Catherine??) was fantastic. Have already written a review on Iwantgreatcare.

I was phoned by a lovely lady doctor ( Dr Catherine???)at about 3.35 pm 9/4/20. She was wonderful, listened carefully and offered me two possible options, about the post operative care I might need. She guided toward what was definitely the best option. An hour later I phoned Boots Claygate to see if they were open tomorrow....bank holiday Good Friday. They had already received my prescription! How marvellous! At nearly 8.00pm I received a text to say that the nurse would phone me tomorrow about care for the operation wound. Thank you Capelfield!
