Appointments are impossible to obtain. They're only available on the day - why you can't schedule one later in the week is madness. Totally disinterested reception staff, they may as well do without them and go fully automated as they just keep repeating the same words anyway. With the uncertainty of whether I'm going to get an appointment, I will now go to A&E for a relatively minor but very painful ailment. I appreciate this is a waste of their resources and my time but the whole experience of dealing with hook surgery is a nightmare and leaves no choice. I was informed by the receptionist that there is only one doctor available in the surgery. This is for a surgery with over 7000 patients reported as being on the books. Given this level of under staffing, how is it ever going to be possible to get an appointment. Very disappointed with the whole experience which frankly puts me off making further visits.
