I have been given exercises to do, which [name removed] demonstrated as well as showing me how to use the online portal. Plenty to do before my next review date. Thank you so much! Fantastic service!

Location: close to home and no travel to Reading.
Setting: it is a lovely hospital and the department is suitable for treatment.
Staff: my physio, [name removed], was really lovely and listened to my concerns/worries and explained clearly when I had questions.

Review of Phlebotomy Service
1st June 2023
I Tried booking an urgent blood test at my doctor's instruction so that the results would be available for a follow-up appointment the next morning. I was told no urgent appointments were available today (this is at 10:40 in the morning) and to call back tomorrow to see if there was a space then.
On saying this was not a feasible suggestion, I was told to ring my doctor (at Eastfield house surgery) to have the blood test done there.
On phoning the surgery, I was told they do not do blood tests. When pressed, the receptionist said she would tell the doctor the situation.

Lots.
How big a problem is it to fit in an urgent blood test? It strikes me that the accountants have got hold of the service and are treating it as a business.
I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED.
