This was a much improved visit this time. My initial visit and a non follow on i.e no details emailed as requested (twice chased!) left me wanting and frustrated. My responses to your questions on my first visit - if I had have been asked - would have been very poor.

The physiotherapist ([name removed]) that I saw was very thorough & explained my treatment very clearly, she listened to my questions & the answers she gave me were very easy to understand, I have seen [name removed] over the past several weeks & she is always very cheerful & I go away feeling very happy with my treatment

Was taken promptly which is always a good start. [name removed] was sympathetic and efficient. She answered all my questions and took the time to explain my X-ray to me which helped me understand my condition better. Let’s hope the next stage of my treatment goes as well!

The time between being referred to the unit and actually seeing somebody was frustratingly long. In some ways it made my situation a lot worse. Let’s hope the next stage is quicker.

I’ve had a stroke, could only walk with difficulty and the ground floor lift was out of order; disgusted with it. Went there to my blood tested, told the healthcare person I didn’t receive the blood form in the post. Response received she couldn’t phone to request it but I was later told that she could have easily done this and she refused to take my blood. Told my wife she had to make the calls but my wife rang lots of people to no avail. We had to go home and got back later on the same day as my wife was finally able to get the form sent over and the appointment rearranged. When we went back, saw the same healthcare person and she glossed over it, saying it was just a misunderstanding. My time and energy were wasted and I am disgusted at how it was handled, just farcical. I’m disgusted with it.

There was nothing else that [name removed] could had done he did everything in his power to get me on the road to recovery
