Helpful, informative, pleasant, kind approach.
Made to feel a person not a patient friendly chat to but received the information and advice I required.
Examination was thorough. Instructions were clear. My treatment could not have been better.
I was completely blown away with my wives room. It was like a five star hotel. It even had a quit on her bed. It was very homely. The peace and quiet was so nice. I almost cried it was even better than our home. I can visit my wife when it is convenient for me. I have complete confidence in all the care that my wife will be given. All I can say is thank (God) that St Catherines is here for all the people who really need that kind of help. Thank you all so much.
My step father was a patient here when they were still a new organisation and more recently my father was a patient.
As a family member I was treated with so much empathy and care that those very difficult times were made so much easier for all of us.
My father was not admitted to the hospice until his final week, but just knowing someone was on the other end of the phone for any and all questions helped us to care for him at home until HE asked to be admitted.
The help and dedication of all the staff, no matter their role, gave comfort and strength when it was very much needed.
My thought is people go here to have dignity and a choice in their final days. Surrounded by people who care deeply about their patients and families.
Debbie the nurse specialist was wonderful. She cared for my Dad during his final weeks of life and helped us to keep Dad at home to die. We can't thank St Catherines enough for their help. Some members of our family did the Moonlight and Memories walk and raised over £600 for this amazing place. Well done all of you, you should be proud of the hard and difficult work you do every day.
Every single member of your team is so kind, polite and caring. We couldn't have done it without you and I know my Dad appreciated what you did for him. You helped him to die with dignity, surrounded by those he loved and no one can ask for more than that.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The Family of Eric Carey
Everything was explained very clearly.
