I had an appointment with the mental health for September 9th which was cancelled I have had no follow correspondence regarding a alternative appointment and I have suicidal tendencies and my mental health can deteriorate rapidly we are now October and I presented with my problem in July and still no resolution.

I am extremely disappointed by the service.
I have been in serious crisis for quite sometime and I have never had any treatment for over a decade.
The last meeting has gone nowhere which was undertaken months ago.
I am certain the lackadaisical, haphazard and frankly terrible level of care is deliberate and encouraging people like me to commit suicide in order to get me “out of the system.”
The helpline is absolutely awful and no practical help is offered.
I cannot convey strongly enough as to how poor the service is.

I gave my answer because I’m not at all supported, I get left in the dark and I have my appointments cancelled on me last minute, it takes over a month for somebody to review my medication and I never get any updates on my care. I never get told what’s happening. I also get put on ridiculous waiting lists for therapy I won’t benefit from and lastly it takes all of my family members and my boyfriend to ring up to get an outcome and for things to get sorted. Only when they threaten to take things further does anything get sorted. Not happy at all.

Been on the waiting list months for psychology. Say they are going to check in every month but this doesn’t always happen. I tried to ask for an update on where I was on the list but someone told me they couldn’t provide that information, eventually received a letter to say I was 40+ in the queue after already being on there waiting for 6 months this was just demoralising. Whenever I do speak to someone they are usually good but it rarely happens.

I chased East Northants CMHT following a phone consultation as I was promised two things 1) that I would be sent an online questionnaire to help with my consultation, and 2) that someone would be in touch. I never received either of these things. I called to chase these items and I was assured I had been assigned to someone called ‘[name removed]’ and that they would be in touch with me that week. This was a month ago and I still haven’t heard anything regarding the next steps of my care. It really is no wonder people feel apprehensive to speak to their doctors about mental health if this is how they can expect to be treated.

It is hard to reply because I am still waiting for a call. The one call I had went well and the lady was very nice, but as yet I don't feel I have received any "service" yet.
I never received any care from CMHT. After being referred, I never heard anything after that. It’s been years.
