Been on the waiting list months for psychology. Say they are going to check in every month but this doesn’t always happen. I tried to ask for an update on where I was on the list but someone told me they couldn’t provide that information, eventually received a letter to say I was 40+ in the queue after already being on there waiting for 6 months this was just demoralising. Whenever I do speak to someone they are usually good but it rarely happens.

Suggested improvements
The obvious is to provide the service quicker however I understand there is a shortage of staff. Being kept informed would be helpful, to give an up to date view on your position on the wait list whether this is via text email or post
