Very impressed with the level of care and the friendliness of staff from Willowbrook dental in Corby to Spencer Ward in KGH. Things have changed since the last time our daughter went under general anesthetic for dental treatment at KGH. The individual care given by [name removed] the nurse, [name removed] the anesthetist, Mrs [name removed], [name removed] and the recovery team was first class. We would definitely recommend KGH for similar treatment and whilst we hope we don't need to use this service again. If we did we know we are in good hands. Thank you.

Working with [name removed] has been absolutely amazing and I’m very sad that our time has now ended as both me and [name removed] always looked forward to her visits and doing and learning new things.. we have really enjoyed working along side [name removed], she has been absolutely amazing and always there to give advice over the phone when ever needed and she will be missed dearly!

Not only has the focus been on my daughter but I also felt treated with dignity and respect. This is my second baby. Although having a health visitor and seeing what they do has been new to me as my first daughter was born extremely prematurely so the ‘newborn’ stage was all done in hospital with the support from staff so emotionally it was a very different experience. This time round I have experienced a completely different journey and have been lucky enough to have had a fantastic health visitor. [name removed] you are an absolute asset to the team at Corby. Not only has she been brilliant with my daughter she has also guided me along in the early weeks where it’s all felt ‘new’ and ‘raw’. The care and compassion she shows has not gone unnoticed and I feel extremely grateful to have had her as my health visitor. I felt very at ease talking to her and she really goes above and beyond to make sure both mum and baby are well!

I have had 5 friends that have all given birth very close together and it’s very interesting when you get talking how different the advice is given between different health visitors. It can seem confusing at times. However as an NHFT employee myself I understand different health care professionals have different opinions however from personal experience a more uniformed approach helps.

Therapy and care was respectful to my daughters needs and very considered. Met with compassion, care, professional at all times. The psychotherapist was excellent, my daughter built trust and a way to communicate which is very difficult for her. Daughter building coping mechanisms and whilst very traumatic to recollect was determined to continue due to the high quality of care and communication from [name removed]. Very grateful for the support and treatment.

Whilst I appreciate the sessions are confidential and my daughter also prefers to withhold information from me, having some type of more detailed feedback would be helpful to understand if she is making progress or if more I can do to support. Top line commentary was shared which was appreciated.

Nurse was really lovely and put my daughter at ease making her feel relaxed about having the nasal spray.
