Not only has the focus been on my daughter but I also felt treated with dignity and respect. This is my second baby. Although having a health visitor and seeing what they do has been new to me as my first daughter was born extremely prematurely so the ‘newborn’ stage was all done in hospital with the support from staff so emotionally it was a very different experience.
This time round I have experienced a completely different journey and have been lucky enough to have had a fantastic health visitor.
[name removed] you are an absolute asset to the team at Corby. Not only has she been brilliant with my daughter she has also guided me along in the early weeks where it’s all felt ‘new’ and ‘raw’. The care and compassion she shows has not gone unnoticed and I feel extremely grateful to have had her as my health visitor. I felt very at ease talking to her and she really goes above and beyond to make sure both mum and baby are well!
