I can't put into words how much the team at Cardinal Clinic have helped me over the last two years. Everyone has always made me feel very welcome and safe and I felt comfortable and was able to feel at home.

I am extremely happy with the service I am receiving from the Cardinal Clinic Windsor. I am a self funding patient and I chose this hospital myself. Good choice.

The sessions with [name removed] [name removed] were generally good, although I feel we had to push for different approaches and for explanation regarding potential side effects etc of medication. While [name removed] [name removed] was good and responsive, the supporting admin was terrible. Secretaries often forgot to confirm appointments, did not reply, documents went missing and [name removed] [name removed] seldom had the relevant notes needed for the sessions. The poor admin made it a lot more stressful than it should have been. At one point I think there were three different administrators involved, and the hand offs and communication between them was terrible.

My experience has helped me through a really difficult bereavement which had led me to many thoughts I could not express to others but I was able to talk about anything, was guided to look at situations from a different perspective which helped me enormously

Supportive nursing/care/general hospital teams. Felt like a 'human', rather than a 'number'.

Limited focus on trauma specific therapy despite high number of inpatients with trauma histories. Made all clinical staff aware of triggers of patient. Despite previously mentioning the banana's are still low quality!

Staff were nice and insiders were taken care of however not much help with condition was given/understanding.

Understand that we are ill and require empathy.

Overall, the clinic helped me greatly. I owe a massive thank you to all of the staff. The reason I gave 4 * for decision making and timely care is because sometimes appointments would be made without me being consulted, which was a bit stressful. Or, the time I was given for an appointment would not be the time I was seen, and I understand why, but at the time that was very upsetting due to where my head was at. The reason I gave 4 * for staff kindness is totally down to two nurses who I didn't get on with, one of which was a key nurse of mine who I never felt empathised at all. It was as though they were almost desensitized to anything you said. Having said that, the rest of the staff more than made me feel looked after and supported. As did the chefs, housekeepers , group leaders and maintenance - and anyone I forgot to mention! The housekeepers going out of their way to be friendly and kind was wonderful. Thank you SO much for everything you've done (and continue to do) for me. I don't know that I would be here without it.

As above, really. The only other thing I would mention is that my original key nurse just disappeared and didn't come back. I was then assigned 2 new key nurses, so 3 total, and that felt messy. I also, as mentioned, didn't get on with my key nurse. However, I know that if I'd had the confidence to voice that at the time I know it would have been resolved.
