Having filled in assessment on Doctorlink I was told an appointment would be made for me to see a GP within 24 hours. Within the hour I was messaged with an appointment that day. Thank you.

Sadly the surgery has completely gone down hill since merging with patford house Wait times for the telephone to be answered are about an hour ( if your lucky! ) Usually handled by a call centre , not at the surgery so things don’t get passed on nor done. Getting an appointment is so hard ! Generally disappointed ☹️

I have phoned several times , once when I had covid symptoms, and this time trying to book a blood test. I have hung up after half an hour. Finally got through today and have to wait 8days to book a blood test prior to a hospital appointment. Receptionist unhelpful and unfriendly.

Suggested improvements
When the system answers the call, the minutes start deducting on my pay as you go, with no idea of how many are in the queue. The old way of getting an engaged tone was financially more cost effective. Having a falsely cheery person repeatedly saying that your call is important to us is just a wind up.

Slight delay on getting the appointment Once appointment made (in good time) it was on time. Efficient. Friendly from receptionist through to nurse (Natalie Colins) On this occasion, there was another patient who need to be seen straight away. The receptionist remained calm, and able to source an appointment eventhough technically there were no spaces available.

Suggested improvements
I appreciate the surgery can get busy. Given it's a partnership of 3 locations, sharing the calls in would improve matters. Alternatively, offer a call back service

The service I received was fantastic. Really efficient, professional and the staff are really friendly. The Doctor I saw was great. He really listened to me and was amazingly helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more. Well done to all involved. Thank you so so much for all your hard work. Xx
