I was fortunate to meet Mr Erlick Pereira when I had to undergo emergency surgery on my spine. I was found to be suffering with Cauda Equina Syndrome caused by a prolapsed disc. I was admitted through A&E and was brought in for surgery that following day. He solved the issues and I had follow ups with him under my private healthcare at the London Spine Clinic. As I had two prolapsed discs with many years unfortunately the second disc started to cause me severe pain with sciatica and lower back pain I had to undergo a second surgery two years after the first. I was again looked after by Mr Pereira at the LSC and again he did a fantastic job. He was informative and his work is seamless. My scar is tiny and so neat. I could not be more grateful to him and his team. I'm finally free of severe pain and absolutely sciatica free for the first time in years. Yes there are residual issues but time is a healer and I know for sure with the ongoing visits to LSC for Physio will get me 100%, along with dedication from myself to ensure I do the exercises set out for me.

Mr Pereira has a professional, relaxed ‘bedside manner’. He explained the procedure and all the associated risks very clearly. The surgical outcome has been a success and I am very grateful.

I am most grateful to Mr Pereira for the efficient and prompt treatment I received from himself and his team. As the onset of symptoms were very quick, there was some debate as to what my complaint was, but I am glad that my case was picked up by Mr Pereira and his rapid interception of my treatment I think produced what appears to be a successful outcome for which I am so grateful. This has been an eye-opening experience as I have been fortunate to enjoy good health up to this event and it also served as a good education of the NHS which gave such good support treatment during and after my Hospitalisation period and recovery at home..

Dear Mr Pereira It is now 4 months since my DBS surgery and I have had 3 follow meetings with Dr. Walsh. So far the results are very good with still more programming sessions to go. I would like to say a very big thank you for what I believe has already resulted in a much improved quality of life. I would like to thank Rhea for her no hassle approach to sorting a few issues. The team pre and post operatively showed me ‘Inspired care’. Pass on my thanks to them all. Thank you so much to you for professional confidence and delivery of the result. Kindest Regards Alex and Bernadette
