I first saw Mr Desai at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital shoulder clinic, where he examined me and had Xrays taken, he then carefully explained my condition and my options. After some consideration I opted for a "Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement", this agreed was my best option. Whilst waiting for my operation to come round, the hospital called and informed me they where transferring me to St Hugh's Hospital for the operation. I saw Mr Desai at St Hugh's prior to the operation and he carefully explained the procedure to me. It is now three weeks after the operation, and I am virtually pain free and have nearly a full range of movement in my shoulder. I was treated with great care and respect by Mr Desai and the hospital staff and would recommend him to anyone who is considering this procedure.

I was in severe pain with my shoulder I was sent to see Mr DESAI for surgery , He explained the operation to me , I went in for day surgery after two months my should is almost completely healed I have a little pain which my physiotherapist says will go once I build the muscle back up . I saw Mr DESAI yesterday when he showed me pictures of what was wrong and what he’d had to do to repair it , and he signed me off his book as I felt so well . I am very pleased with the job he has done and would recommend him to anyone and would definitely use him again if I needed to .

I was in very good hands with Mr Desai .he would listen to what I was saying and explain everything to me .he made me feel at ease with my surgery before and after .always polite and curious. I would recommend this surgeon to anyone. Great care and service

Mr Desai was very efficient and listen to my systems , treatment was instigated immediately on my first visit and further treatment within a week. At all my appointments I was seen promptly and any questions about my condition and treatment were answered to my satisfaction. Would definitely recommend this service and would not hesitate to use again if needed.
