Very professional and caring team totally committed to my well being.
I had fantastic care until I arrived on the ward at park hill , I was left for few hours after asking for pain relief then was sent home the next morning even though I was very upset in pain and lived alone , I was made to feel like I was worth nothing . I couldnt take home the pain relief I was on as lived alone so had nothing.

I went to ParkHill Doncaster for a knee replacement in July 2019 the care I received was second to none every member of staff from the cleaners to the consultants went out of the way to make what was to me a very worrying time, stress free and cared for my every needs, I can’t thank them enough for making the start of my recovery the best possible way.
I received excellent care both during my operation and after Keep up the good work
Went in as an NHS patient in winter for an op. It was early morning and couldn't get into the hospital, no sign of any staff and no response to the buzzer. Other patients also waiting outside (including elderly). It was dark, weather was extremely cold and raining. Had to follow someone through the NHS hospital to gain access. There was no heating on in the room until over an hour after arrival and then the radiator was barely warm so the temperature was unacceptably cold. Had to wait in hospital gown for 4 hours before going for the op and was actually shivering on the way down. Staff were aware of the problem which was a regular thing and no attempt was made to move room or warm it up. I don't usually feel the cold but couldn't get warm. My visitor kept their padded coat on. There was no water/jug in the room and only received a cup of tea and biscuits after the op, 6 hours since last eating or drinking anything. Have had procedures in NHS hospitals and never experienced anything like this. The actual medical care was fine but for an elderly or less healthy patient the cold could have been a more serious problem, especially as the pre op info emphasised the importance of keeping warm before having the procedure. For private patients the comfort/ambience of room would probably not meet expectations. Definitely not somewhere to recommend.
