I saw Dr Desai privately through my health insurance for a rotator cuff operation. All through the process of pre op he was very informative and professional in explaining my options. On the day of the op he saw me pre op and eased all my fears with his carm and assured nature. The op went really well and all my post op appointments helped me know where my recovery was at. Highly recommend Dr Desai

I was treated by Mr Desai as a private patient but on the NHS. I never felt I was a ‘second class citizen’ and he was kind and thoughtful throughout my treatment. I needed a torn tendon fixing in my arm - apparently due to my age this type of surgery is not considered viable however Mr Desai took into account my active lifestyle and offered me the surgery if I wanted it, but couldn’t promise a 100% successful outcome. I’m pleased to say after only 3 months I’m 95% recovered and expect that to improve as I carry on with the exercises. I had thought the pain and loss of use of my arm was something I was going to have to live with and am delighted to say I’m fixed!
