I waited around 13 months from seeing my doctor about potential ADHD to starting my medication and I'm so glad that it ended up being worthwhile for me. Once I was assigned to Psych UK, things started rolling much more quickly. I felt that everyone I spoke to really listened to me and valued my input. Valid concerns were flagged up when necessary, but my experience and opinion was considered when discussing how to respond. Any questions I asked were answered clearly and promptly. There was clear communication about expectations and any changes made to my plan. I would recommend this service, and have already done so to a few people I've met in similar situations.

Great company. Ended up with psychiatry UK through the right to choose due to long wait times with the NHS. Helpful and informative throughout. My prescriber (Becky S) was particularly helpful. Giving me advice and other helpful information. Even during the medication shortage. As well as being prompt and efficient on carry out tasks there end. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an easily contactable company who is working through ADHD processes.

I had a great experience with Psychiatry UK when I was diagnosed with ADHD. They were referred to me through Right to Choose, so there was a bit of a wait to be seen. However, they kept in touch and their portal was a convenient way to stay connected with them. From the diagnosis to the medication titration process, their service was excellent. They treated me with respect and dignity, and they made sure to inform me about important information regarding medication. They were also thorough in their care and screenings before starting the medication. After the diagnosis, they promptly provided me with the assessment confirmation and adjustments for work, which was incredibly helpful. It allowed my work and university to better support me. I had an amazing prescriber who was with me every step of the way. He always treated me with kindness and dignity, addressing any concerns or questions I had. He would also inform me if he was going on leave and kept me updated on prescriptions during shortages. I am extremely grateful for the help and support I received from Psychiatry UK, especially Ryan K's expertise and care during the titration process.

I was referred by GP through the Right to Choose pathway, knowing this would be a lengthy waiting time it was still quicker than going through the NHS pathway. I was seen within 8 months and then another 6 month wait for medication titration. Dr Sadiq was very thorough and listened to what I had to say. Communication has been very good. Titration Nurse Denise Bromilow was amazing.

My experience with PsychiatryUK has been generally very positive. I waited just six months for an initial assessment by a psychiatrist, having self referred via my GP as I had started to suspect that mental health difficulties I was having were a consequence of undiagnosed ADHD. My assessment was just under an hour, during which my psychiatrist reviewed the information I had submitted and asked lots of questions to get an insight into the difficulties I was having and how these had manifested throughout the different stages of my life. She was not the most attentive, and there were some minor inaccuracies in her report, but she generally got a good insight into my difficulties and I was diagnosed with ADHD combined type. It has taken over a year to get access to the right medication after narrowing my options down during my first titration process, but this is due to global shortages, so it can't really be helped. I am commencing titration again with what is hopefully the right medication for me this month. I have been well supported throughout the titration process and my titration nurse is very efficient and attentive.
