I have received a great service from P-UK over the past year and a half. Private ASD assessment and NHS RTC ADHD Assessment with Dr Owen Roberts and ADHD titration with Lorraine. Both excellent and caring professionals. I felt well looked after and listened too at all times. The portal worked well for me. For a service that is very over-subscribed at the moment, I was really impressed. Thanks to both of my clinicians who I felt very lucky to have. Having the diagnosis and now the meds has had a significant positive effect on my life.

My concerns were always listened to and contact with my prescriber was extremely good. We explored various medication routes before settling on Elvanse working for me, the care I received when exploring the routes was always good quality and even when the medication shortage was ongoing effecting my prescriptions and titration progress I could still contact my prescriber for reassurance and advice. I would highly recommend psychiatry UK when dealing with an ADHD diagnosis.

Psychiatry UK and 'Right to Choose' is a good way to quickly access diagnoses and care (mine was a 6mths wait). It's not perfect and my GP said that if medication was recommended he was not prepared to accept diagnoses or medication requests from them, so bear this in mind if you think you're going to need meds. But that is an issue with the relationship between Psychiatry UK and GPs, not the care I received.

Overall my experience was good. I did not have to wait too long for my assessment. The assessment itself was a bit shorter than I expected. I had to wait quite a while for titration and then when I reached the top of that waiting list I had difficulty navigating the portal and was discharged for not answering some questions in one area by the deadline when I had focused on completing all the pending forms. I then had to be referred again by my GP and waited another 6 months for titration. This was quite frustrating and upsetting. Clive who handled my titration was fantastic, very responsive, clear communication helped me try another drug when the first one did not work out and able to answer all my questions

From the very beginning of my journey with Psychiatry-UK, the team, and especially my advisor, Denise Bromilow, have been a source of unwavering support and trust. As someone who not only contends with ADHD but also faces challenges such as social anxiety and OCD, finding a professional who instils confidence from the outset is crucial. Denise has not only met but exceeded my expectations in this regard. Her understanding and compassionate approach have made a significant difference in my life. Denise has been there to listen, guide, and closely monitor my medication and overall health throughout this process. Her dedication and professionalism are truly commendable, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her by my side. Moreover, the entire Psychiatry-UK team has consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism. I genuinely cannot point to a single area where they fall short. I was assessed, diagnosed and titrated in a short time. People often complain that the ADHD wait time is so long but I think Psychiatry-UK was rather speedy and always kept me in the loop.

Great service. Thorough assessment. Clinical reasoning for outcome explained clearly with opportunities for me to ask questions. I felt psychologically safe and included in the assessment process. AI used to write report from the transcript which I though was very clever and means after being checked by the psychiatrist it can be sent out the same day. Brilliant as a big report like this usually takes at least 3 hours to write up

I waited around 13 months from seeing my doctor about potential ADHD to starting my medication and I'm so glad that it ended up being worthwhile for me. Once I was assigned to Psych UK, things started rolling much more quickly. I felt that everyone I spoke to really listened to me and valued my input. Valid concerns were flagged up when necessary, but my experience and opinion was considered when discussing how to respond. Any questions I asked were answered clearly and promptly. There was clear communication about expectations and any changes made to my plan. I would recommend this service, and have already done so to a few people I've met in similar situations.
