Psychiatry Uk I have literally changed my life! So grateful for the service and attention I received during my diagnosis and titration. I always had quick responses to questions and enquiries and I was always dealt with consideration and care. Have and will always recommend them.

Having waited for my referral for both ASD and ADHD, I believed my assessment was on 31 July for both. It wasn't, it was just for ADHD. I have chased my ASD referral by phone, live chat and email and cannot get anywhere!!! I find it very stressful to chase these things and easily become overwhelmed. I am still waiting for a response. The online chat function tells you it is closed when it is open!!! Regarding the ADHD assessment, when the appointment came I was chased for a form that I should have been sent to ask my parent to complete. I never received such a form in my portal until after this assessment so this had to be completed and now will no doubt delay my diagnosis further. It is like pulling teeth with these guys which is frustrating when you are neurodivergent!!!

DO NOT choose Psychiatry UK as your NHS Right To Choose. Genuinely terrible experience for nearly two years and counting... I was diagnosed with ADHD privately through my university. I was then told I needed to get diagnosed again... waiting list for 6 months (Oct 2022 - May 2023). Put on the waiting list for medication, got told 7 months... was 13 months (May 2023 - July 2024). During this, at the 7 month mark I was told I could start titration on another medication. Filled in my details and got told to hold fire and get ready. 4 weeks later, I got told that they could no longer provide this, and I was back on the never ending waitlist with NO estimated date for my medication. (They also misspelt my name, just to rub salt in the wound). I struggled so bad during the beginning of 2024, I had to drop out of university. My GP couldn't help me, and I was given absolutely 0 support, guidance or reassurance from Psychiatry UK when I raised this with them over the telephone. I was told I could make a complaint but they could offer me NO help, NO answers. I have now started titration! But BE AWARE, it is all via text message. Not a single phone call with a nurse, EVERYTHING via their note system. Got problems explaining your symptoms in writing? Welp, you're stuck. Need to speak with a member of staff? 5 working days reply time. Does your nurse need to speak with your consultant? GOOD LUCK! My consultant who diagnosed me didn't get back to my nurse after TWO WEEKS and I had to trial a different medication from the one I was meant to be on. Cherry on top, I need a new prescription. I submit my delivery information, and low and behold... it is being sent to a completely different address! If only I could speak to an advisor who can send my medication to the right address I asked for... (Been on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes so far!!) Please I beg, DO NOT choose Psychiatry UK as your NHS Right To Choose.

Nicole is a Star! I can assure you that Nicole will never just tick the boxes, and will always delver an exceptional care and service. She answers everything in detail and is very quick to reply. She has very high standards and I have rarely seen anyone taking one’s duty of care so seriously. She appears to have achieved mastery in her field. I wish her all the best!

I cannot thank Jo and their team enough for the help I have received over the last six months. It has been a journey with its ups and downs. Finding the medication that suits you is not an easy thing, but Jo was always really helpful, truly understanding my situation, and working with me to get the best out of the medicine. I cannot thank you enough, Jo. Best wishes, Fede

I found my time with Psychiatry UK to be better than i expected! Not because of PUK its self but the general negative comments surounding ADHD treatment now days in the news regarding wait times etc but I have found the whole thing really positive! My initial referral was in June 2022 but it was delayed due to an issue with my dorctors not completing a form correctly so I finally got processed by PUK in November 2022, i have now completed tritation in September 2024, there was a period of a few months where we had to pause due to a meds shortage also, the process can feel long and daunting during tritation if you have to change meds a lot like I did because they didn't agree with me but my prescribing Dr Julie was always really helpful and there to answer any of my questions or concerns! It can feel like it's taking a long time to get to the end result but it is worth it in the end, my life has changed for the better now I'm on the meds that I need to be!
