I was diagnosed with osteoporosis 2 years ago and initially went to a (different) private specialist. Having followed that other specialist's exercise and nutrition recommendations to the letter for a year, my spinal T score dropped alarmingly during that year from -2.5 to -3.3. I decided to get a second opinion from David Reid. Only 6 months into my course of a year's treatment with him, Professor Reid has achieved a miracle for me and has more than reversed the previous year's bone loss. I really feel he has given me my life back. There is no comparison between my experience with Professor Reid and the other private consultant I saw. Professor Reid is at the cutting edge of the latest osteoporosis treatments, and really knows his stuff. He and his PA are extremely efficient, eg letters were sent to me straight after each appointment, and he has kept in close contact with me, via regular Zoom or in person appointments, during my treatment. It was easy to book an appointment and a DEXA scan, and he answered all my questions, both during the appointments and in between, extremely quickly and clearly. I feel blessed to have found out about Professor Reid and would definitely recommend him as the "go-to" person to anyone who has osteoporosis.

Prof David Reid is an excellent doctor and an even better person. He discussed my case in detail, went through all my concerns and diagnostics in detail and explained each and every finding in detail and in a way that I understand it clearly. Excellent experience. I am so glad I got an opportunity to see him.
