King Edward VII hospital is the best and cleanest and friendliest hospital ever. I have had two operations here in the last 12 months. Last month August 25 I had an operation to remove breast cancer and the year before I had a bunion operation. Everything about the hospital from the greeting at the door to the reception greeting and service, to the nurses and the doctors and the rooms, the food, I just cannot commend this hospital enough. Absolutely the best service and standard. Better than most 5 star hotels! Thank you to helping me with my surgeries I am so graceful and would always choose this hospital if ever I need to in the future.

21st June 2025. I had an extremely positive experience. I really felt taken care of - literally from pre- entry to exit. I was always informed of what was happening - the staff were informative, present, charming and friendly - from cleaners to food staff to nurses etc., exemplary! My experience of knee replacement surgery was frankly amazing. From even before the surgery, Shona kept me focused and organised (my surgeon’s PA) all information sent via their MediOffice system was clear and concise, Sarah & Eunice were there at pre-assessment and physio after surgery. My anaesthetist Rebecca Lea Smith is THE most amazing person, professional/ focused and yet super empathetic. The Operationg team were like a well-oiled Formula one Engineering team - felt totally safe. And finally my surgeon Mr Luke Jones - the James Bond of the Orthopaedic surgery world is really quite amazing. I researched him and found him via Chat GTP. Extremely safe pair of hands and very low NJR revision rates. Can highly recommend him and the team at King Edward Hospital. All support staff were amazing- thanks to Vincenzo who went above and beyond ( and I got to practice my Italian), to Donna, my healtcare assistant, also to the team in CCU after my surgery who were ALWAYS available, kind and supportive (Bitar and Kumo). A BIG thank you to ALL the nursing support team. And last but not least….the food is Amazing- seriously good, fresh, tasty and delicious- the standard of a very good quality hotel restaurant. And believe me, I have experience of fine hotel dining! This review is authentic, honest and coming from someone who has had 5 operations in 5 different hospitals, so I have experience. Thank you again to the team @ King Edward VIi hospital. I am truly grateful and blessed to have been taken care of by you.

Everyone I met here has been unfailingly helpful and courteous. Nurses in the breast unit were excellent as was radiologist Dr Upadhyay.

I received great nursing care at this hospital by a thorough professional nursing team. They supported me on arrival and after my procedure looking after me throughout the night. Nothing was too much trouble. On departure I was kept informed of my medications, who to contact if I needed further support etc.

I was in the King Edward VII hospital for a mastectomy and lymph node removal surgery and although I was only there for one night, the care I received meant that what was a stressful situation was much easier to cope with. All the staff were professional and kind and the quiet room meant that I was able to recover post operatively in a calm environment. All aspects of my care and follow up were very good.

I've only had great experiences every time I visited Kind Edward VII. The staff is kind and welcoming and the properties are clean. It's a pleasant environment to be in which is particularly welcomed when you must visit often for medical care.

I cannot recommend the breast unit at Edward VII highly enough. Everyone who works there is kind, warm and highly professional. The cancer nurses make this very gruelling and painful process as easy as possible, and I really felt well looked after by them.

A king Edward VII surgeon, David Barrett told me he would resurface my right knee but in the surgery he did a full knee replacement that has left me disabled, He describes the outcome as disappointing. For me it is life limiting and life changing such that I struggle every day. He jokes about it saying he wakes up in the night calling my name. I find that shocking and obscene. I have complained to the hospital but David Barrett resorted to denial / dishonesty when challenged
