Reviews
After several years of pain in my knee and unable to walk easily, I was recommended to Mr Ellis by a friend for a knee replacement. I was seen by Mr Ellis in January 2019 and had my replacement nearly 7 weeks ago. From that day to this my walking has improved greatly and I am now managing to walk short distances without the aid of a stick. I have had 2 queries since my operation, none connected directly with the actual operation and Mr Ellis was able to answer my queries and put my mind at rest. He is a very friendly man and explains everything clearly. I have no hesitation having him operate on me again should the need arise and would recommend him highly.
Thank you very much for this review. I am really pleased that you have made such a good recovery and felt well cared for. With kind regards Simon Ellis
Mr Ellis undertook some further work to my knee as I had continuing pain after my knee joint replacement last year. Mr Ellis is very kind and ensured I stayed over night following general anaesthesia as I live alone. He is very caring and has assured me that the joint should now greatly improve. I am now at last looking forward to greater mobility. Many thanks to him and the other medical staff at KIMS Hospital.
Thank you very much for this feedback, sadly sometimes further surgery is required following joint replacement to maximise the function of the joint. I wish you a rapid recovery. With kind regards Simon Ellis
I had very bad arthritis in both knees, I was on strong pain killers but was in pain if I walked any distance and had a limp on my right leg.
after a pleasant consultation with Mr Ellis it was clear I needed both knee joints replaced.
I had my right knee replaced in January and was surprised how fast I recovered.
In six weeks I was back driving my car, and walking my dog along the beach .With no pain and no limp in my right leg.
I had my left knee replaced 7 week ago, and the same applies for that.
having my keen joints replaced has given me a new lease of life.
I cannot thank Mr Ellis enough for the information, care and attention I have received

He demonstrated a kindly approach and instilled confidence, that was very reassuring.
He went the extra mile in all his dealings with me.
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. I am very pleased that you felt so confident in my care. Going the extra mile is really important to me as it fits with the care I would want my own family to receive. With kind regards Simon Ellis
Mr Ellis is very thorough and professional and inspires confidence in his patients. He explains all steps in understandable terms as well as the risks and expected outcomes. I would recommend his services 100% to anyone who might ask.
