Very professional and Simon personally put me at ease with his skills and his teams ability who undertook my knee replacement.Great team highly recommend for the work carried out.

Mr Ellis is a true gentleman and has so many skills his professional and friendly manner and getting straight to the point puts you at ease and gives confidence for getting ready for surgery. He has helped so many people over the years me being one with my second knee replacement. He is everything you would want from a surgeon who is going to operate on you .Also the team at the Alex were very caring on the ward so grateful.

Simon is a very professional consultant he has now done both of my knees for me. It’s absolutely superb in the work he does. He’s a very kind gentleman listens to everything you tell him or ask him also when going in for consultations he is very understanding and cares what your future holds once again Simon well done and thank you for looking after me.

Mr Simon Ellis has just operated on my right knee and put another half knee in. The whole experience was like a very well oiled machine. I cannot recommend anyone else his knowledge and experience is second to none. I’m in my first week of recovery and every day is getting easier. I’ve also had this done through the NHS and they are the best.

mr Ellis is an accomplished surgeon with a great deal of knowledge. He is very considerate and caring. I felt, at all times, confident that I would be looked after.

I have visited Dr Ellis on two occasions and on both i was made to feel like my treatment was important to him. I was an NHS referral and felt i got the same care as i would have done had i been private.

Dr Ellis was a fantastic doctor who helped me to completely understand everything behind my ACL surgery both before and after. On the day he made me feel completely confident with everything and checked up with me post surgery, even weeks after. I would 100% recommend.

Mr Ellis is a RARE Gem

After having seen two different consultants i finally met Mr Simon Ellis he was the first person that sat down with a blank piece of paper and listened to what was happening. He knew straight away what was wrong as he had come out to reception to greet me. Not only had i seen two consultants but spent a lot of money on Chiropractors with no results. I had two injections on my knees which only helped for a very short time. Mr Ellis asked me for new X-rays as mine was a year old but said i think i already what's wrong.When he called me back in he showed me my X-rays and explained in great detail what was wrong and my options. So we decided that i needed two new half knees and the left to be done first.This was decided in September and by November i had my appointment and was operated on. I cannot ever thank him enough for his professionalism, kindness and understanding with what i was going through. The pain was becoming unbearable and 24/7 and for me he has just given hope and quality life as I'm a very active person. Mr Simon Ellis has turned my life around, I'm in my second week post op and must say the pain is nothing like i was living with. He comes highly recommended and the whole process has been incredible the staff are amazing and nothing was to much trouble. And i look forward to my other knee being done once i have recovered.

I have always benefitted from truly exemplary care from Mr Ellis following referral to him from my much respected and trusted physiotherapist. I recently underwent arthroscopic surgery carried out by Mr Ellis as a day patient at the Spire Alexandra Hospital. I received wonderful care from all the staff at the hospital and truly outstanding care from Mr Ellis.
