Having just had an excellent consultation with Simon Ellis today ,be it only on Zoom and not face to face I can say how impressed I am with his knowledge, politeness and how clearly he explained things throughout the meeting. he knew how my knee was just by listening to my problem and for me has made the right decision to replace my knee. I have every confidence in Simon to get my life back to normal and pain free.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Covid 19 is really challenging for everyone but particularly in healthcare it has redtrictec the usuaL doctor- patient relationship. I have worked really hard to maximise the ability to make the right decisions for patients and I am delighted that you appreciate this. With kind regards Simon Ellis

I have seen Simon Ellis a few times now as I have had separate issues with both of my knees, he diagnosed the issues in each knee and clearly explained the options for me going forward. He explains everything very well and is clearly an expert in his field, he makes you feel totally at ease and has given me great advice. I would have no hesitation in recommending Simon and will definitely see him again for any further advice or treatment that I need with my knees.

Having had my knee replacement in March and unable to see Physio due to Covid 19, I was anxious about the pain I was still having in my knee and also that I had had a few falls where the knee seemed to be giving way. The zoom meeting with Mr Ellis was just like sitting in his consulting room, talking quite naturally and at ease. He assured me straight away that everything was going well and was still early days as regards the pain. He was able to advise me to contact the Physio department as they will be able to give me ongoing advise and maybe some excersises to do. He also arranged to see me in clinic in the next 2 months. I felt so much better having talked to him and so grateful that he will do a follow up. Very lucky to have him as my consultant. Thank you Mr Ellis.

Thank you very much for this kind feedback. The coronavirus situation has certainly affected post operative recovery from joint replacement with the lack of face to face physiotherapy. I am glad our discussion was reassuring and I look forward to seeing you face ot face in due course. With kind regards Simon Ellis

After the second telephone consultation with Me Ellis I felt more confident with my progress. As a result of the current pandemic I have been unable to attend my physiotherapy sessions, however, following all the exercises given by email Mr Ellis was pleased to know of my progress to date. He had plenty of time to listen and gave me great encouragement to continue with my exercises. I look forward to having a face to face consultation with him when circumstances allow.

Thank you very much for leaving this positive feedback. The Covid19 pandemic has resulted in many difficulties in providing healthcare both to those directly affected by it and those needing ongoing but unrelated care. I am pleased that you feel that I have been able to provide such good care in these unprecedented times. With kind regards Simon Ellis
