I was very happy to see Mr. Ellis (my operations were done by Prof. Shetty) and he listened and understood very well the problems I was having to completely straighten my legs. I saw Mr. Ellis on 28th September. I found him to be very sympathetic to the fact that I have macular degeneration and even sent his follow up letter in big print. He listened carefully to what I had to say and treated me with great courtesy.

I have seen and spoken to Mr. Ellis on several occasions and have found him to be very caring. The information he gave me for my knee operation was very detailed and put me at complete ease.
My operation was cancelled due to covid 19 lock down.
Due to the lock down and plenty of rest with gentle exercise, my knee problem has greatly improved.
Mr Ellis agreed to see me again he was very understanding and very thorough with the examination. We decided for the time being to put the operation on hold. Thankyou for you patience Mr Ellis. I would very much like Mr Ellis to carry out my knee operation if and when I may need it. A very nice man.

Mr Simon Ellis is one of the South East's leading knee surgeons. He has over 25 years’ experience as a consultant based in Kent. Simon has a very simple but important mission statement "I give the same quality of care to my patients as I would want my family and friends to receive". Simon prides himself on communication.
