Fantastic experience from start to finish. Dr Alazzam and his anethatist Dr Salem and their secretary Ms Risk we’re kind, professional and helpful throughout. Explained the procedure and laid all my fears to rest. All is good now abs I don’t have to worry about anything down there again. Thank you so much.

I would definitely recommend Mr Allazam. I was very well cared for from start to finish and felt I could ask questions along the way if I was worried about anything. His secretary, Zoe was very organised with arranging appointments and getting back to me. Also, I couldn't fault the care I received at The Manor Hospital as an inpatient.

I am certain there are good surgeons in this world and even great surgeons Mr Alazzam is these and so much more, he is a remarkable surgeon and a remarkable human being. When you first get diagnosed with cancer all sort of thoughts spin round in your head, why me, make it go away and yes I am going to die, then I met Mr Alazzam. He talked openly and honestly about my diagnosis and prognosis, no wrapping it up to soften the blow, but with compassion and understanding. He clocked my personality straightaway (stubborn as a mule and determined to fight) and flexed his style to meet my needs. There was regular communication right up to the surgery, no long periods in the dark with time for me to create those negative stories. I must here also give recognition to his secretary Zoe, an absolute star, always there to answer any queries and keep all appointments on track. On the day of my surgery, I knew I was in the best possible hands I could be in and therefore could face it all with confidence and minimal fear (there is always a little). My surgery turned out to be longer than expected as my tumours were massive but due to the outstanding capability of Mr Alazzam and his team totally successful. The focus and dedication in that moment in time just to do the best for me still makes me wonder. The very next day, even though the weekend, Mr Alazzam was there just to see how I was and whilst I remained in the hospital even at the end of very long days he would still arrive just to check and have a chat. My healing was great, I was discharged within 5 days and recovering so well I was back working the next week. I have a beautiful, huge scar which I look at delight as it reminds me of the skill, effort and dedication taken to help me live. I am doing so well know that I have already had my first round of chemo. I now know that I will be living with cancer for the rest of my life, however I also know that I have a truly remarkable surgeon with equally remarkable colleagues who will be by my side doing whatever it takes to help me live a long life. I consider myself blessed to have met Mr Alazzam, not just because he is an outstanding surgeon but because he is a wonderful, compassionate, caring human being who if he could fix the world would and I will do whatever I can to support him with that goal. One of the positive side effects of cancer is I now have Mr Alazzam in my life and for I hope lovely reasons long may that continue.

In our zoom meeting Mr Alazzam explained things in a clear and understandable way. He listened and answered questions similarly, at times with humour. A very pleasant and trustworthy person to whom to trust ones life. Handsome too. Terry Baker
