Mr Edwards did give me a good examination but it did feel hurried. Unfortunately I got the impression that it was just a chore and I was not given any time to ask questions and quickly discuss them.
I was called to see this surgeon and was very nervous over the possible outcome. I was put entirely at ease during the careful discussion that followed. I came away very impressed with the detailed way I was listened to when discussing my problem. The details were fully explained to me and gave me much reassurance. The air of profound competence was most impressive. Thank you indeed!
I felt very confident under Mr Edwards’ care. He listened to my concerns, didn’t rush me, clearly explained everything was sympathetic and efficient offering outstanding care for which I was very grateful. Thank you for all you do Mr Edwards.
Mr Mark Edwards has proved to be open and transparent on two occasions of vascular scanning checks when apparently the size of the aortic aneurism was within necessary limits.
I was rather worried therefore to receive a letter today from the NHS stating that recent test results in a departmental review meeting will require 'to work out the best way forward' a meeting where 'things in further detail' may be 'talked through'.
I have recently had both cataracts replaced (the first signed off and the second to be reviewed on 30th April)
I've used the replacements to enable serious hard work to start on my band cornet and violin plus increased opportunity to improve -hmm -my golf.
Are these challenges compatible with a possible change in my health resource??
Mr. Edwards is a very compassionate and professional surgeon who throughout my diagnosis of an enlarged abdominal aortic aneurysm and subsequent surgery explained everything together with my options very clearly and the associated tests that would be required. He outlined that, as the aneurysm was near to the kidneys, open surgery was recommended which I agreed with. I felt at ease and comfortable in all our discussions and thank him very much for a successful surgery. Having now fully recovered (except for the abdominal scar which I understand will take a year to heal properly) I can rest assured that the AAA is no longer a worry. I really cannot thank Mr. Edwards enough for his great skill and am thankful that the NHS can provide such an exceptional service. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
