After years of ankle and foot pain I was eventually recommended Dr Carmichael first seeing him at Fitzwilliam hospital Peterborough then onto Peterborough City for a fusion and tendon reconstruction. Today I have been discharged (9/7/19) the operation was September 18 and my quality of life and just being able to walk and enjoy outdoor activities again pain free is just awesome. The whole team of people at Peterborough city have been amazing all the way through this journey. Dr Carmichael comes highly recommended from me. Thank you. Paul Corbridge.

I saw Mr Carmichael two years ago when he performed cheilectomy to remove bone spurs on both big toes. I recently had surgery for fusion of the big toes due to arthritis, it's now twelve weeks later and I have no pain at all. I should have listened to Mr Carmichael and had the surgery years ago. He's very professional and discusses the options and the procedure in great detail. I am now very happy that I can walk and run pain free, thanks to this surgeon.

From my first meeting with Mr Carmichael I felt very comfortable and he communicated well what the procedure would entail. My Ankle Surgery went well and the healing process has gone according to plan. I did exactly as Mr Carmichael instructed and I am totally delighted with the results. Within ten weeks from Operation I am back in the Gym and walking again my usual four miles a day. Totally recommend this Surgeon and if i have any further issues would not hesitate to go back to him. The joy of having no pain as soon as I was up and about has all been worth it. Excellent Outcome

Couldn't of asked for more from Mr carmichael. He looked after me for several years and performed several ankle operations the last being an Ankle fusion. His advice was fantastic and and always felt he had my best interests at heart.
