Mr Akrawi performed surgery on our daughter. She had virtually decapitated her big toe but he managed to save it. He was very professional and explained the procedure and went through the xrays with us. We are extremely grateful and would recommend Mr Akrawi as a top surgeon.

The doctor carefully took me through not only the operation but also the post operation schedule for recovery in depth and made me feel very assured, I put a great lot of trust intoDR Akrawi's hands and deservedly so as the operation went very well and there are no complaints on my behalf at all all the way from the actual operation to how polite, friendly and understanding he is towards his patients, I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs surgery on their ACL or anything else he specialises in.

My name is Paula Jenkins at end of December 2018 i suffered a fall at home and double fractured my leg below the knee, Mr Akrawi was my consultant surgeon and operated on what i was later told was an horrific injury from which i could have lost my lower leg, Mr Akrawi did an incredible job restructuring my leg using plates, screws and a section of bone from my hip. I was told recovery could take up to twelve months, but within three months during a follow up appointment with Mr Akrawi i was able to walk a short distance unaided, i regard myself very fortunate to have had Mr Akrawi as my consultant surgeon and i will be forever greatful for his skill and kindness during my time in hospital and follow up appointments. I could not have had better care than from Mr Akrawi and his team, thankyou.

Dr Akrawi was asked to give his opinion on my knee by another surgeon. During this discussion, Dr Akrawi assumed responsibility for an investigative arthroscopy on my knee and the subsequent after care. I had struggled with reduced knee movement, pain and restricted flexibility which resulted in leg muscle wastage for 3 years. On the day of surgery, Dr Akrawi explained the procedure. On waking from the op, somewhat later than expected, I was surprised to find myself in little discomfort or pain. When Dr Akrawi visited later that day, he explained that he had found more problems at the back of my knee and hence why the operation was more involved and had lasted longer than anticipated. I was weight bearing the following day, walking reasonably comfortably and driving the following week. Now, two weeks later, I am walking a lot better, have increased flexibility, little discomfort and I am starting physio this week. Thank you Hawar

In March 2018 after 5 years for knee pain I was referred to Mr Akrawi, What a blessing that was after X Rays and consultation he recommended a full knee replacement as my knee was badly damaged due to Osteoarthritis. Mr Akrawi was very good in explaining the procedure and what would happen during and after the operation. Which took place at the end of April 2018 Follow up appointments with this consultant are not rushed at all he really listens to you and is very reassuring. I have since recovered well and can walk again And can hardly see my scar
