On the 27 December 2019 I had my knee replaced by Mr Akrawi at Maidstone hospital. Both before and after the operation Mr Akrawi was very patient and explained all that I needed to know. At 84 one is understandably anxious but I needn’t have worried. I was able to go home the following day. I would definitely recommend Mr Akrawi to anyone requiring such an operation. The hospital staff were also very conscientious and professional.

I attended the Maidstone hospital for a knee replacement with a successful operation carried out by Mr H Akrawi. The operation went smoothly with no pain and the healing process was successful. Throughout my short stay at the hospital the staff were freindly and on first name terms with the patients. Mr Akrawi carried out the pre and post operation interviews listening to all my questions and offering professional advice when needed.

I am a 59 year old man and was quiet anxious of having a total knee replacement. After meeting Mr Hawar Akrawi he made all the anxiety dissappear, outstanding interpersonal skills. He explained the procedure very clearly and not in a rushed manner. On the day of the surgery Mr Akrawi checked if everthing was in order and found an injury I had obtained whilst gardening, he was concerned it may cuase complications and postponed the procedure, as soon as the wound healed a couple of weeks later Mr Akrawi promptly arranged another procedure for 2 weeks later, great service! The day of surgery he again went through everything and made me feel calm and at ease, the procedure went very well. Everything before and after the surgery was done very professionaly, fantastic care from all the staff, faultless, friendly and happy helping people. Whoever gets treated by this team is very fortunate and in the best hands. I left the hospital with a big smile and a warm feeling. There's been a spring in my step ever since then, much appreciated and thanks a bunch.
