Dr. Akrawi Hawar, in a nutshell is a professional into his area of expertise.
Carrying, gentle and very focused on regaining the functionality of my knee.
His advice went on , given for many months after the op as how to get back to a normal life as I am a very sporty active person.
He cares about his patients and also keeps in touch with them about their progress. He has been very proactive answering to all my questions and also advising physio therapy schemes to recover faster.
I would recommend him to anyone needing his expertise.

Just recently I've had knee surgery with Dr Akrawi, at the beginning in the consultation appointments he listened and assured me he'd help me, i'd trust Mr Akrawi 100%, he's trustworthy, helpful and kind.
Mr Akrawi filled me with great confidence with being so informative all the way through and even still at the follow up appointment after my surgery, the scars are neat and tidy also, i'd recommend friends and family most definitely.

i had excellent results both left and right T K R the surgery was performed by HAkrawi ,they both healed well and functional within sixweeks.The pre and post operation consultations were informative and caring.The second operation I was able to watch the surgical team which was well organised and led byHA.a very comforting situation.a real caring and professional gentlemen who listens and performs well. I didn't think life could be so good only nine months after the first surgery. This summer walking the North downs next year Scottish highlands. Thank you HA for such great results even in this rather unusual C 19 time.

I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty interest in Knee Reconstruction, Joint Preservation and knee Arthroplasty Surgery. I am British trained Orthopaedic Surgeon who completed advanced fellowship training in Sports Medicine, Diseases of the knee and Joint Arthroplasty at the prestigious North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre. During this year, I spent time gaining advanced training in performing a variety of reconstructive knee procedures under the tutelage of A/Prof Leo Pinczewski in one of the major orthopaedic and sports medicine practices in Australia.
My special expertise is in adult and paediatric ACL reconstruction, Patella instability, realignment (osteotomy) procedures around the knee, Cartilage Regeneration and sports knee injuries and robotic assisted replacement in young and active patients.
