Mr Akrawi understood and listened to the problems I had with my knees and explained everything really well. He worked in partnership with me so that I was able to complete life tasks prior to surgery while also expressing the urgency to get it done.
After the surgery I did not feel well and he suggested staying overnight in hospital which really helped my symptoms.
His care is great and I would 100% recommend him to family and friends with the same problems.

Mr Akrawi put my severely smashed kneecap back together in feb .Talked through all option available to me asked him to do what he thought best .He put it back together using some metalwork .4 months later I have practically full ROM and the scar is so neat it’s barely visible.I’m very pleased with the outcome and Mr Akwari was delighted I could walk normally so soon . Thank you so much .

Extremely impressed with the care and explanation of what he was doing and my condition.
A very tricky dislocation which I get I could trust him 100% in his ability to achieve optimum results.
Which indeed he did.
What a brilliant asset to any hospital.
He certainly k ones what he is doing and delivers with the upmost compassion for the patient and is very humble making it sound so simple
And easy.
By far one of the best ever doctors I have encountered.
Thankyou so much I went in unable to walk and came out walking.

I had a dislocated patella bone which was resting on my thigh bone.
A rare type of dislocation.
Mr akrawi was calm, methodical and explained everything in detail.
He manipulated the bone back into position pretty quickly. Without any pain at all.
In my opinion he is nothing short of genius and luckily he knew what he was doing and had prior experience.
The Nhs is truly lucky to have such an amazing, kind and skilled consultant.
It’s a very lucky patient who has him as a consultant.
First class service with such compassion for the individual.

This surgeon is incredible, I broke my tubular and fibular in September 2021 had metal work put in place then in April 2021 I damaged my knee on the same leg mr akrawi operated on it and within 3 weeks I had full range of movement in this knee it's now 8 weeks after surgery and it's like nothing ever happened also to mention I have the neatest scar possible.

I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty interest in Knee Reconstruction, Joint Preservation and knee Arthroplasty Surgery. I am British trained Orthopaedic Surgeon who completed advanced fellowship training in Sports Medicine, Diseases of the knee and Joint Arthroplasty at the prestigious North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre.
