Mr Chidi Ekwobi

I can’t praise Dr Ekwobi enough. From start to finish he was caring, professional and made me feel completely at ease. For someone who has not had surgery before, I went into the whole process feeling quite anxious. As soon as I met Dr Ekwobi and spoke with him, I felt completely confident and assured. I am amazed by the results of my surgery and for me it is very much life changing, I feel so much more confident in myself. The results for me are perfect, I had no pain and my scarring is barely noticeable. A lot of surgeons now provide before and after photos on social media; Dr Ekwobi doesn’t provide this, however, I knew from his reviews he would be excellent; an understatement. My results are amazing and so natural, I can’t recommend him enough. Fullwood hall as a hospital was so caring and accommodating; a fantastic experience all round.

Mr Ekwobi has a friendly and kind demeanour, his humour helps you to feel more comfortable in what could be quite an embarrassing situation. His obvious love of his craft is evident in the care he takes to achieve the very best results for his patients. He listens to his patients, explains things in layman's terms and, because he takes on board your wishes, makes it feel like a partnership rather than a doctor-patient relationship. I think the trust is extremely fortunate to have such a competent and compassionate consultant and as a patient, I feel I have received the best treatment possible.

First time seeing Mr Ekwobi and he made us feel comfortable and welcome and also he was very professional and took his time with us and any questions we wanted to ask it was no bother at all. Every appointment has been perfect he really does care and you can definitely be sure you are in the best safe hands as possible! 100 percent would highly recommend this man. Mr Ekwobi explained all options with me, put me at ease and I really felt like he cared about the outcome and the difference it would make to my future. He is an approachable Dr and I felt I could ask many questions during the procedure and recovery. A very calming, caring and happy Dr who I really trust.

I am so grateful for my experience with Mr Ekwobi. From the first consultation to where we are at now, it has all been exceptional. During the first consultation, Mr Ekwobi thoroughly explained what the surgery would entail and examined me, mentioning that I was a good candidate for this procedure (DIEP reconstruction). He made me feel totally at ease by his knowledge and expertise, and with his friendly and caring nature. The surgery went smoothly and whilst I was in hospital, Mr Ekwobi checked up on me on a regular basis, providing excellent care. Any concerns I had were addressed and he was very thorough. He even called my next of kin to say how the surgery had gone. The results of my procedure have exceeded my expectations . Mr Ekwobi is a perfectionist and this is evident when I look at the surgical area. I am extremely happy and confident with how I look post surgery and how my recovery is progressing. Mr Chidi Ekwobi has been great throughout. From my first appointment, as an out- patient, to subsequent plastic surgery, I have been completely satisfied. I have also had a facial skin graft; where the care and attention to detail, has been ‘above and beyond’. You are in good, and considerate hands when being looked after Mr Ekwobi! I and my family cannot thank him enough.

I have now been seeing Dr Ekwobi for just under 5 years and can't speak highly enough of him. To say that he is an excellent doctor is an understatement the NHS are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful, passionate doctor. Dr Ekwobi has performed 3 surgeries on me and each time I've been told exactly what's going to be happening, been given clear information on prognosis and after care. My first surgery back in 2018 was to removed a melanoma skin cancer mole which required a skin graft being taken from my groin and lymph nodes in my cheeks being taken for further testing. My 2nd surgery was Jan'23 and this was for a tissue expander to be placed just above where my skin graft was and the idea was to expand my scalp so the skin stretched enough for them to cut out the skin graft and close the area. My 3rd and final surgery was April' 23 and this was to remove the expander, cut out the skin graft and close the area up. The surgery has been a huge huge success and now you can barely tell that I've had any surgery on my face at all. I can't thank Dr Ekwobi enough, he not only saved my life by removing the skin cancer in the first place but then went onto do a further surgery to help improve the overall look because it was very obvious that I'd had the 1st surgery due to it being on my face / scalp. I can tell that Dr Ekwobi is an incredible doctor by the way that his delegates are extremely competent and skilled, This will be doing to Dr Ekwobi passing on his knowledge and skills through all the training he does for his delegates. Dr Ekwobi will never understand how I will be eternally grateful for everything he has done for me and I cannot thank him and the NHS enough, I tell everyone I can about my story and because of this man its a really positive story being told ❤️

Mr Ekwobi is a truly wonderful person. He is a kind, caring and compassionate gentleman. He discussed all options open to myself. I highly recommend him to others. He actually listens to you too. Could not ask for a better surgeon. Thank you.

Great Dr who makes you feel like he has all the time in the world for you. Happiest and most pleasant Dr I think I have seen in my life.
