My operation to have a complete knee replacement done by Mr Asif Parkar was a great experience. In the beginning I was not looking forward to the operation at all. I was advised to look at other reviews, but decided to ignore this, as I did not want to know what to expect. They talked me through all the different options available to me, and the final decision was my own. I decided to go with the spinal anaesthetic, which I never thought I would do. And everything they tell you is true. I am now 3 months post op and now trying to book in my other knee, One constructive suggestion that I would make is to have a little more after care.

I am really pleased with the care I have received from Mr Parkar. He listened carefully about what I had to say and gave me options on what to have done. My knee operation was very successful and at my follow up appointment he clearly explained what the outcome was. I am now going to see him again for my other knee.

I found Mr Asif Parkar to be an extremely helpful and compassionate doctor. My surgery has gone well, and this is down to Mr Parkar. I have had a really good experience and would recommend Mr Parkar highly.

On my first visit to meet Mr Parkar I found him very courteous, and filled me with confidence about my operation. He asked me were there any questions I wanted to ask about the operation, and after being in his surgery for about 15 minutes I came away a lot more confident about my knee replacement. The operation went smoothly, no complications. On my last visit 8 weeks after my operation, he examined me again and asked if there were any questions I-needed answers to, and after dealing with this Surgeon I could not recommend him highly enough. He then signed me off.

Mr Parkar explained the procedure and listened to my questions and answered them all. He also said that he was 50% of the procedure but I was the other 50% and that stayed with me and spurred me on to exercise well and take full advantage of the physio.
