I was very impressed by Mr Parkars advice and information given to me prior to my total knee replacement. I had the operation at the beginning of October in the Spire hospital Brentwood.
It is now 8 weeks later…. I am free of pain and enjoying walking and swimming again..
I cannot recommended him enough.

This doctor performed a total knne replacement on my 86 year old mum. She has fully recovered and has good use of the knee.

When I first met Mr Parker I was in quite a lot of pain in my left knee and after a few visits he gave me options as to what I could do to help out , I opted for a half knee replacement which has worked out very well for me I took his advice and am glad I did
Going in hospital for the operation was a big thing for me as I hate hospital especially when it’s for me and having the surgery was a scary thing as I was told all about the horrible stories that one hears on how you hear everything and fell stuff when in the operating room
Total rubbish I never heard or felt anything and I didn’t see anything either. Top marks you made me feel at home and put my mind to rest as well even in the operating theatre
I have just seen Mr Parker again today as I have been discharged from the hospital.
AGAIN A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU AND ALL OF THE TEAM KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK and if ever I need another knee I hope it’s you and the team I get.

Mr Parkar was trained through the prestigious Royal London Trauma & Orthopaedic training rotation programme. He has done fellowships at the Barts health NHS trust, London, Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS foundation trust, London and a north American fellowship based in Calgary. These are level one trauma centres and tertiary referral centre for complex Orthopaedic procedures.
His NHS practice is based at Queen’s Hospital and King George Hospital, London. His practice is mainly focussed around sports knee injuries, ligament reconstruction and computer assisted joint replacement for patients with existing deformities. He is one of the few surgeons in the country with fellowship training in performing hip replacement through direct anterior approach. He is also the infection control lead for the department.
He has been actively involved in research and has published his work in several peer reviewed journals. He has a degree in computer and robotic assisted joint replacement. He has a holistic and evidence based approach towards patients care.
Mr Parkar was awarded certificate of excellence for providing great care "I want great Care" in 2022 & 2023. He was also awarded trainer of the year 2022 through Royal National Orthopaedic Stanmore Training Programme for registrars.
