Dr A Parker is a fantastic doctor with a great bedside manner. I had knee surgery to remove loose cartilage. He explained the procedure in great detail and gave me confidence about the process. A great doctor whom I would highly recommend.

Full knee replacement.
Mr Parkar is a very professional and concise consultant/surgeon. Prior to operation he went through the process of what he was going to replace within my knee which I felt very comfortable with.
I was waking on my new knee straight after the operation, which amazed me, and was home within 24 hours.
Mr Parkar was very kind and understanding and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Hoping to have second knee replacement towards the end of this year, surgery with Mr. Parkar again.

Dr Parker came across friendly yet professional, he was very clear and concise with his explanation of the the procedure he was going to perform. He made me feel very confident being left in his hands and 2 months after my operation I am already feeling the benefits. Overall I am extremely happy and glad I made the right decision to have it done. I couldn't really ask for more.

I had my Knee replacement surgery at Spire East London hospital. Dr. Parkar was really good and listened to all my concerns. The surgery went very smoothly without any complications. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Mr Parkar was trained through the prestigious Royal London Trauma & Orthopaedic training rotation programme. He has done fellowships at the Barts health NHS trust, London, Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS foundation trust, London and a north American fellowship based in Calgary. These are level one trauma centres and tertiary referral centre for complex Orthopaedic procedures.
His NHS practice is based at Queen’s Hospital and King George Hospital, London. His practice is mainly focussed around sports knee injuries, ligament reconstruction and computer assisted joint replacement for patients with existing deformities. He is one of the few surgeons in the country with fellowship training in performing hip replacement through direct anterior approach. He is also the infection control lead for the department.
He has been actively involved in research and has published his work in several peer reviewed journals. He has a degree in computer and robotic assisted joint replacement. He has a holistic and evidence based approach towards patients care.
Mr Parkar was awarded certificate of excellence for providing great care "I want great Care" in 2022 & 2023. He was also awarded trainer of the year 2022 through Royal National Orthopaedic Stanmore Training Programme for registrars.
