Mr Parkar has been nothing less than amazing to me, I was very worried about my surgery but he explained it very well and made me feel comfortable. The day of my surgery I was very nervous but he came in and calmed me down and explained what was going on and again made me feel very comfortable

On our first meeting, Mr Parkar built rapport with me quickly and put me at ease and created an environment of trust. This enabled me to fully explain the symptoms I was experiencing. He listened, asked clear and concise questions, repeated and clarified this information before then explaining in clear English with no medical jargon, what the issues were and how he would go about rectifying them. The whole process from start to finish was clearly explained to me. Mr Parkar answered all the questions I had without making me feel unknowledgeable or ‘talked down to’. He was reassuring and confident about the best course of action. On the day of the operation, he spoke to me again and explained the process to check and confirm my understanding. He also spoke to my family members directly after the operation to reassure them of the success of the procedure and my recovery. His communication throughout our interactions have always been clear and concise. On my final consultation, before being discharged from his care, Mr Parkar explained again the specific details of my surgery, and the steps he took. He advised that despite being a challenging procedure, he was pleased with the outcome. After the surgery, there were no complications with the healing of my knee wound. I would recommend Mr Parkar to others for his exceptional care

Provided exceptional service, great bedside manner, listened carefully to my concerns and made me feel at ease through out the whole process. Had knee surgery around 6 months ago and my knee is now feeling amazing. Truly grateful.

Mr Parkar has now done both my knees, and the whole experience was fantastic. They were done within 6 months of each other, so this tells you that Mr Parkar is a great surgeon. Everything is explained and alot of reassurance given.

Mr Parkar was professional, took time to listen and was very clear about what he could do and my part in my own recovery. Just before my operation I was struggling to drive to the supermarket, shop and return home . A few weeks after my operation I was walking properly and pain free. Before my operation I was very limited with the exercise I could do and took up swimming. After the operation I did the physio as instructed and spent considerable time practicing walking properly (not limping as I had been for some time). I think it would be helpful to other patients to emphasise how they could help themselves more preparing for the operation and afterwards although I realise there will always be those that don't listen or exercise. My knee replacement has changed my life in a very positive way.
